Senior Pastor – Zach Tarter

Zach Tarter has served as pastor at Faith since April 2020. He was born in Detroit, MI but raised in Garland, TX and the Upper Peninsula of MI—where he met his wife, Emily. After graduating from the University of Northwestern-St. Paul, Zach and his family moved to SW Florida for work while he earned a Master’s of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. Zach then served on the pastoral staff of Westminster Church (PCA) in Fort Myers before coming to FRC. He enjoys running, playing basketball, reading, and spending time with his family. His aim in ministry is to bring all of God’s Word to God’s people as a present and prayerful shepherd so that we would grow in Christ (Acts 20:24-28; Eph. 4:11-17).

Youth Director – Jon Damkot

Jon Damkot was born in Cedar Grove, WI, and attended school there through graduation. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Actuarial Science, Jon worked in insurance for 10 years before changing course and working a variety of jobs for the following 5 years. Throughout that time, Jon was active as a youth leader at Faith Reformed church, and also served as a Deacon and Elder. In late 2017, he followed his passions and gifts to the role of youth director at the church he grew up in. Jon enjoys watching Wisconsin sports–as well as Rocket sports–and also enjoys board games and card games. He always welcomes the opportunity for fellowship and conversation at a restaurant or coffee house. Jon is most passionate about seeing young people grow in their walk with Christ, and developing an unshakable faith and devotion to Him. 1 Peter 5:1-4 and Colossians 1:28-29 are his ministry verses.

Pastoral Apprentice – Lincoln Rus

Lincoln Rus was born and raised in Sioux Center, IA. He graduated from Dordt University in 2017 with a dual-degree in Secondary Education and History. Upon graduation, he moved to Fort Myers, FL to teach middle school at Summit Christian. During his three years of teaching, he felt a growing desire to pursue ministry. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando with a Master of Divinity in 2024. He is an avid football fan (Skol Vikings) and enjoys pickleball, lifting weights, playing board games, and spending time with his English Bulldog Bruce. His hope in ministry is to show the love of Christ to around him and aid them in growing in the knowledge that Jesus is their Savior and God is their Father. (Zeph. 3:14-17; Phil. 1:20-26).

Office Administrator – Wendy Wonser

Wendy was born and raised on a farm just outside of Cedar Grove. She graduated with a teaching degree from UW-Whitewater where she also met my husband, Jim. She and Jim have 3 grown boys and live on a hobby farm just a mile down the road from where she grew up. She has been a life time member at Faith Church and has been involved with the VBS and Christmas Program and has worked with Adventure Island. She and Jim where also janitors at the church for 5 years. She also worked in the Cedar Grove-Belgium Elementary School for 15 years. She enjoys playing games, spending time with family and attending high school sporting events.

Pastoral Assistant – BJ Hilbelink

B.J. Hilbelink came on staff at Faith Reformed in January, 2023. He and his wife Colette have three small children—Caleb, Melody, and Hannah. B.J. earned a bachelor’s degree at UW-Madison in 2010, a Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL) in 2017, and is currently working on a PhD in Old Testament at Trinity. A Cedar Grove native, B.J. attended church regularly throughout his youth, but he did not come to saving faith in Christ until the age of 18. For this reason, he has a passion for sharing the gospel and praying for revival in Cedar Grove. B.J.’s purpose in ministry is to set his heart to study God’s Word, live it out, and teach it to God’s people (Ezra 7:10). In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing sheepshead, and watching sports.

Music – Jamie Brill

Jamie Brill was born and raised in Cedar Grove, WI and has attended Faith Reformed Church all her life. She began playing preludes, hymns, and praise music in the church at the age of 12 and has continued to serve the church through music ever since. Her husband Andy and three children, Elise, Abram, and Nolan have been helping lead the music within the worship service for numerous years. Jamie enjoys playing music, running, cooking, coaching, reading, and playing games with family and friends. She is currently substitute teaching in the Cedar Grove – Elementary School. Jamie’s leadership approach to music is rooted in verse three of Psalm forty, “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.” Music can have an impactful importance in not only the worship service on Sundays, but also within an individual’s heart and how they come to know the Lord. Music in the church should be intentional, impactful, and overall a way to praise God for His relationship with His people.
